Foscarnet sodium is a broad-spectrum non-nucleoside antiviral drug which can effectively block the replication of various DNA viruses such as herpes virus, human papillomavirus, hepatitis B virus, human immunodeficiency virus and related infections. Foscarnet sodium is often used in combination with a variety of drugs in clinic to play a full role in antivirus. In this paper, the research on the combination use of foscarnet sodium in clinic, including the treatment of herpes, hepatitis B, human papillomavirus infection, and adverse reactions of combination therapy are reviewed.
