    医疗保健相关感染(HAIs)依然是全球患者安全的重大挑战。近十年来,被污染的无生命的环境表面已被确认为易感患者感染的重要来源,同时也是医务人员手污染的主要途径。医疗保健环境卫生在感染预防与控制(IPC)中的关键作用得到了重新审视,成为医疗保健机构患者安全和HAIs防控中重要的非药物性干预措施(NPIs)之一。改善医疗保健机构环境卫生,不仅可以显著降低患者的HAIs发病率和病原体的定植率,还具有显著的成本效益。这些观点已在业内形成广泛共识。本文旨在探讨医疗保健机构环境清洁的历史演变,已取得的实质性进展,以及未来的重点发展方向,以期为相关领域的研究和实践提供参考。

    Abstract:

    Healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) remain a significant challenge to patient safety worldwide. Over the past decade, contaminated inanimate surfaces have been recognized as a major source of infections in susceptible patients and a primary pathway for healthcare workers’ hand contamination. The critical role of healthcare environmental hygiene in infection prevention and control (IPC) has been re-evaluated and is now considered one of the important non-pharmacological interventions (NPIs) for patient safety and HAI prevention in healthcare facilities. Improving the environmental hygiene of healthcare facilities can not only significantly reduce the incidence of HAIs and the colonization rates of pathogens in patients, but also demonstrate substantial cost-effectiveness. These perspectives have gained widespread consensus within the industry. This article aims to explore the historical evolution of environmental hygiene in healthcare facilities, the substantial progress achieved, and the key directions for future development, providing references for research and practice in related fields.
