    Abstract:

Mycoplasma hominis is a type of the smallest known prokaryotic microorganisms without cell wall. It is polymorphic and can pass through a filter. In human body, it mainly causes urinary and reproductive system infection, seldom causes adult intracranial infection. There is still a lack of unified consensus on the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis management and other aspects of intracranial infection. This paper reports a case of Mycoplasma hominis intracranial infection after neurosurgery due to traffic accident, so as to provide reference for the clinical dia-gnosis and treatment of such disease.
